Hi, We are developing a new petrol/gas pump which will have an embedded PC running a Windows application with a touch screen, credit card terminal, bank note / cash acceptor, barcode reader (vouchers) and printer (receipts). Welcome screen -------------------- The customer will be presented with a 'welcome screen' initially, which will clearly show the 3 ways to start a transaction: 1) 'insert card' - if they insert their credit/debit card then software will proceed to the 'card screen' 2) 'Insert cash' - if they insert cash (UK bank notes or Euro bank notes) into the bank node acceptor then software will proceed to the 'cash screen' 3) 'Voucher' - if they scan a barcode with one of our vouchers (and it is valid) then software will proceed to the 'cash screen'. Card screen --------------- Initially this will say 'Please follow the instructions on the PinPad' and have a button to allow the user to go back to the welcome ... Once the user has entered their Pin on the PinPad and the bank has authorised the transaction, then the software will proceed to the Fueling ... Cash screen --------------- Here we need to handle UK sterling notes and Euro ... The software will have an exchange rate, so if the user inserts 2 x... sterling notes and 1 x...
